Small to medium enterprises need many consulting and business law services, but these enterprises (especially startups) aren't generally in a position to hire a major law firm or in-house counsel. That's when EntrepreneurShop, LLC can help.
Forming a business seems easy to do, but there are some issues that every entrepreneur should know related to types of ownership, liability, control, and tax considerations.
We can guide you through this process as a consultant for $150 / hour or handle formation activities for you at flat fee pricing:
Corporate Formation $ 1,000
(includes State of Texas filing fees)
Corporate Ownership Agreements
Basic completed agreement $ 500
Negotiated and tailored agreement $ 1,000
Basic Employment Policy Package $ 750
Contract Review and Drafting
Sometimes a Texas small to medium business just needs a contract reviewed by an expert and "red-flagged" to point out the impact on the company of standard clauses (e.g., non-compete) and the clauses that are unusual or troublesome (e.g., a step-in clause).
Contract review by a licensed Texas attorney is a flat fee of $200 for a standard 1-20 page contract or $300 for a 21-60 page contract. The fee includes a brief written report or 30 minute in-person or phone consultation with the attorney.
For more complicated contracts or for contract drafting to meet the unique needs of your Texas company, services are available at the rate of $250 / hour or at a negotiated flat fee rate.
When a company needs unique services, EntrepreneurShop, LLC is here to help. We offer business management consulting for small to medium enterprises as well as targeted legal services for Texas companies, including litigation.
A basic consultation with a business consultant or licensed Texas attorney is billed at the flat fee of $100 for a one-hour consultation. More complicated services, including litigation, are offered at the hourly rate of $250 / hour.
Flat Fee Services:
Demand or Cease & Desist Letter $ 500
Legal Audit of Small to Medium Enterprise
(includes report and recommendations) $ 1,000
Copyright or Trademark Filing $ 1,000
WHY FLAT FEE PRICING? Flat fees allow you to know what the bill will be for a particular deliverable product, shifting the burden of time management onto the consultant or attorney. You won’t be charged for phone calls, emails, and meetings, and we will take time to get to know you and understand your business to best serve your needs. If you are unsure which documents you will need or what is included in a flat fee price, feel free to email us so we can discuss which documents you need and you can get a firm idea of cost. Flat fees are not appropriate for some issues, such as filing or defending lawsuits, negotiating agreements, or resolving disputes.
